A 2+ Carat Purplish Pink Oval Sapphire Art deco ladies ring from the early 1900's.
This was a lucky estate find, as the hallmark is not very visible to the naked eye.
Comes with a GIA Certificate with information about the center stone & ring. 
 
Natural, untreated, transparent Corundum/ Sapphire 
The color of the sapphire is very pleasant and lovely to look at. 
The cut is a beautiful oval step with very large dimensions of 9.92 x7.3 x 3.7mm
 
The beautifully grained filigree Art Deco ring is made with platinum with possibly 10% Iridium & a 18k Gold Bezel. 
There are 32 diamonds, the 22 on the bezel are 1.5mm each, approximating 1 carat diamonds in total.
